Stinky is best known for two things: his Southern drawl, and his constant use of the word "bites" (usually with "this" or "this really" put before it). He's also the class "ladies' man"; he's claimed to be in love with Helga, Gloria (both in "Helga's Boyfriend"), and Lila ("Ms. Perfect"). He lives with just his father in a home which can best be described as a cabin. Never let it be said that Stinky can be bought; he turned down a chance to make a million dollars as the Yahoo Soda "spokeskid" because he realized they only wanted him because people would gawk at his "hick" ways. Also never let it be said that he doesn't have some talent; in addition to growing large pumpkins, he can play the Alpenhorn ("School Dance"). Note that Stinky is his real first name. His last name has been spelled "Petersen" and "Peterson",

Stinky became a Sentinel when his hometown was attacked by the Unversed and he helped his friends hold them off. Stinky wields two kinds of weapons. For long-range combat, Stinky wields a magnum compound bow with unbreakable steel arrows and exploding arrows. For close-quarters combat, Stinky can dish out two sickles and cut down whatever enemies stand in his way.
